I spend too much time on card games and TTRPGs.

Karate Bugmen go brrr
The best I've seen has been a battle in front of a malfunctioning elf gate where creatures from various worlds came through to assail the party. It was very dynamic as different environmental effects would seep through, plus there was the threat of getting pulled in and stranded on another planet!

You may want to supplement the Medicine skill with another form of quick healing. Clerics with Healing Divine Font get lots of spell slots for Heal, sorcerers have potent Heals thanks to Sorcerous Potency, bards and witches can heal repeatedly with Hymn of Healing and Life Boost respectively, etc.

The Medicine skill is useful at all levels! You can even start with a background like Field Medic for an early skill feat. Some feats require expert or better proficiency, and you can increase a skill proficiency as soon as level 3 (2 as an investigator/rogue) or by taking the Medic Dedication at 2.

As for build advice, anyone can invest in the Medicine skill. The Continual Recovery and Ward Medic skill feats help quickly Treat Wounds after a fight, while Battle Medicine will help you heal during a fight and the Medic archetype can further improve it. It's your choice how much you want to take.

Play advice: Pay attention to people's HP and how threatened they are. Falling unconscious is very punishing as you drop any held items, fall prone, and get your turn delayed. An enemy crit takes about half your HP, so keep people out of that danger zone instead of just helping after they've hit 0.

I'm always a big fan of the Dandy archetype! I love having more skills improvements on my characters, and I think it's great that you can have all sorts of knowledge (whether accurate or not) just from the gossip that your character heard.

Of course, it's the spooky month after all!

The real injustice is not appreciating Shelyn for offering the choice of Crafting or Performance.

Go through the books and give them a read through, it's the best way to understand how the terminology differs and what non-obvious things you might otherwise miss. If you don't have the books, you can always go through the rules section of Archives of Nethys for the player core and GM core books.
