How often do they say that, and how often do they say "Antisemitism AND ISLAMOPHOBIA have no place here"?

I think the antisemitism of the Nazi movement has been in the Overton Window for a long time. Totalitarianism has also been roundly embraced by both the right and the left.

For the last year and a half antisemitism has been incredibly mainstream. On the moral hierarchy, support for Hamas and support for Hitler are on the same level. It is interesting that a lot of those most upset by pro Hitler stances (among non Jews), are also so willing to support the former.

I would honestly rather have the people who think "Hitler had a point" be out and loud about saying it. Their antisemitism isn't any better for being kept quiet.

The edge lord salute needs to be called out, but it needs to be called out for what is is. That's why I was disappointed with the ADL. They should have followed up with a request that Musk unequivocally condemn Nazis and use of their imagery, and make it clear that they should not see him as an ally

Nazi means someone I disagree with. It's the "fascists" from George Orwell's "Politics of Language".

Jews have nothing to do with it (except everyone hates us), which is why pro Hamas assholes have no issues with being outraged that someone on the right is a "Nazi"

To reassure you Jesse, there are people on Bluesky who think murder is wrong. For myself at least, it never occurred to me that that might need to be a position that required clarification.

That last point is very important. There are far too many people nonconsensually involving others in their kinks.

Can they maybe just add a label or warning: "not in lockstep with Bluesky group think"?

I think that would save a lot of these people the trauma of seeing something that they disagree with.

I love when I catch typos in an author's blog post. I feel it gives me a glimpse of the writing process, in this case "will happily to destroy". For most people I would assume a simple mistake; for you I assume a purposefully changed intention regarding how you wanted the sentence to read.

Are these indictments public? The article has a ton of links, but not to the actual charges. Is it possible they are sealed?

While I think that the law is correct (from a more than cursory, but not an indepth analysis), the political fallout is very concerning to me. I think a lot of people will feel this ruling is a subversion of the rule of democracy. People won't feel beaten, they'll feel robbed, and that's dangerous.
