Got the same view of Dublin three times today

Cinematographer John S. Bartley has passed away. He was the director of photography for the first 3 seasons of The X-Files, helping to establish the look of the show. He also worked across all 6 seasons of Lost. theasc.com/news/in-memo...

Water Safety Ireland do brilliant work, but I think the lead images for their last two Water Safety Awareness Week campaigns could do more. I know they're designed to make people think and reflect, but they don't share knowledge. I think the RNLI image does both.

I think this is a great water safety banner by RNLI:
It's a photograph that isn't stylised, and it shows the body position above and below the water.
It has an easy-to-remember message and plain language instructions.
It doesn't have distracting or unnecessary graphics or text.
