It probably doesn’t make sense if you weren’t there, but 80s kids in North America grew up watching a *ton* of old TV shows/shorts via syndication. Things like Addams Family, Gilligan’s Island, and Stooges games back then make sense to me - I know I wanted ‘em at that age.
