This is why Democrats sit on their hands when they have power and make deals with the minority party instead of actually pushing through any lasting changes. Late-stage capitalism is a bitch and Dems defend it almost as aggressively as Reps.

It's stays that way when we continue to vote in people who are more interested in conserving the status quo than affecting actual change. People on both sides of the aisle line their pockets with donor money and fight for the interests of said donors instead of the interests of the American people.

The fascists are already in control. The Democratic Party is ineffectual in its messaging and beholden to the same financial masters as the Republicans. I vote for them simply because they are the lesser of two evils. The party is already dying, as is the American Empire.
