Cattle are of course a huge part of the rural economy so easily accepted. As an Islander myself, I’m all for easily found proof of previous population. Peat bogs are good at preserving evidence so perhaps more investigation is required to be so confident of positive results.

I agree. We’ve 2 lads studying degrees. 1 home & 1 away. Regardless of the quality of the education UCM seems to offer nothing in addition. No organised socials, specific student discounts at local stores or anything half exciting as far as I can tell.
