My research on this Jock Soto profile quickly found we were both born at the same IHS hospital in Gallup, NM. A place birthing joy and so much sorrow. My grandma knew of sterilization issues and sat with my mom throughout labor to stop unexpected procedures. nativenewsonline.net/arts-enterta...

I love this @btoastie.bsky.social article for so many reasons. It brings me to memories and bonds with kin. Metallica shows. Inherited concert tees in my wardrobe from uncles and aunts that passed. Family reunions at W.A.S.P. shows. And there is a playlist! www.hcn.org/issues/57-11...

lots of traffic crowd control sequences with this same conclusion. gates open for patrol to march crowd away to clear entrance, cars leave/enter, guard returns inside. Rinse/repeat.

When I wrote this two years ago it was so obvious how families needed this game to gather. It’s why I think Albuquerque is a college football town right now. Also, I always loved this New Mexico State band picture and just now noticed the lone cloud among the feathers sourcenm.com/2023/09/21/w...
