There's no point in praising #Andor for its anti-fascist rhetoric and imagery if you're not willing to live those ideals yourself and support actual IRL movements to bolster the working class and fight back against our systemic authoritarian issues. It's logically ridiculous and morally heinous.

And despite events like the Ghorman Massacre being a focal point of #Andor, many of those fans will continue to say nothing about (or actively support) the ongoing apartheid in Gaza made possible by the US and Israeli governments. The cognitive dissonance of these people will be epic to witness...

They will happily watch our material conditions degrade more for the sake of brain-dead economic policies that only enrich the already disgustingly wealthy. They will cheer for the active targeting of queer and trans individuals who simply want to just exist and work and eat.

There will be so many both liberal and right-wing SW fans watching #Andor who supposedly hate big government and oppression, but they will continue to lick the boots of past/current authoritarian politicians and cops. They will support further diversion of taxpayer funds to the DoD and MIC.
