Well I didn’t follow the GF riots so If it did happen that way, then they should have been banned ig but I can’t form an opinion on something I didn’t follow closely. We were told not to talk/post on social media about Jan 6 when it occured or face UCMJ charges so I was more invested wondering why

I said initially, because Initially he encouraged the protest, I didn’t say he continued to do after it got violent, but his encouragement of the event is what lead to it escalating. Whether or not he intended it to escalate, it did. His words were taken as support, and what happened after.

I’m actually not a democrat or republican.

And he was kicked off for the Jan 6 storm for tweets for initially encouraging the storming of the capitol. This was during his presidency, yes, but 14 days before he left office and he still had access to the POTUS twitter.
