Agreed. And I'm tired of continuing to get emails asking me to donate to the Democrats so we can "continue our fight" and I'm not really sure why or what we're continuing to do, because here we are, and I thought THIS was what we were trying to prevent.

To be clear, many denials are more accurately due to insufficient supporting info documented. Expertise: 20+ years working insur. I'm medical offices, currently work in O&P. I'm not saying insur rules are accommodating, but it's a many-sided issue.

"Medical Necessity" is a specific term with specific criteria to meet, it's not as simple as the words. These things require supporting documentation from the ordering Dr and from the provider of the device, that must very clearly and specifically support the criteria of Medical Necessity.
