Anywho wasn’t trying to detract, more like… YEAH WHAT ANATOLY IS SAYING. Even as someone who is setting up these gen AI capabilities at work, I don’t trust it one bit and do everything in my power to keep its role limited. They’ll find someone to do it. Might as I do it right.

The benefit is having to do it by hand (thousands of rows) vs scanning and fixing mistakes

I tell my boss the whole time: DO NOT USE THIS IN AUTOMATION

Anything it ever spits out must be audited. It’s to speed up a horribly tedious process for our consultants, not to replace their role in that task entirely. Can’t ever trust it entirely

Literally the only time I will ever use text generation is for data preprocessing by extracting specific fields from certain product descriptions (stuff that you can’t consistently use regex for)

And even that took fine tuning, isolating the model, etc
