Sometimes you must be lazy or frivolous and give yourself time to just be. Catch up on that sleep without guilt. Sing that silly song and hit all the goofy lyrics. Sit bundled up in the cold of the morning just to capture the coming sunrise. Because you are worth that time spent doing what you love.

I had been needing to clean up my gardening things and tend to the weeds. Thank goodness the hail was small, and that tornado was weak. But the warning siren going off a full 20 minutes or so after all the excitement was over?? Somehow that's more scary.

Pictured here is my front door with a pile of hail around it, and one of my poor fruit trees scrubbed of it's leaves. Never thought I would use my snow shovel in August, but that stuff was piled up on the deck to my shins. All of this to say that while it sucked to go through this, it was a bit good

I'm doing surprisingly well, but it's because I'm growing everything indoors while I build a little greenhouse. 😏 Please enjoy some squash blossoms and give yourself a moment to just be here with me.
