Earlier today, I spent some time browsing in the Indigo bookstore, Eaton Centre, Toronto.

I was pleased to see 3 copies of “Young Neil: The Sugar Mountain Years,” my book about Neil Young’s early years in Canada. It was cool seeing “Waging Heavy Peace,” Neil Young’s first memoir, beside my book.

I was gifted with a splendid new book — “John & Paul: A Love Story in Songs” by Ian Leslie. I’ve already read 87 pages and look forward to reading more tonight.

The author focuses on the close relationship between John and Paul, from their teenage years up until John’s death.

Sadly, this is how many Canadians feel about the U.S. at the moment. We don’t recognize the once great nation anymore and we’re afraid that we’ll be detained at the border for any number of reasons.

Celebrating the 60th anniversary of National Flag of Canada Day 🇨🇦 on Feb. 15, 2025.

Our national flag is a symbol that unites Canadians and reflects the common values we take pride in — democracy, inclusion and equity.

We reject the bully tactics employed by the fascist Trump regime. Go, Canada!

Trump is a bully, a convicted felon, a serial liar, a con man, a sexual abuser, a grifter, an asshole and a moron. I could go on and on.
