If you have read my posts here, maybe you quibble with whether the 1893, 1894 & 1895 baseball games... All after formal creation of the AIU Athletic Association are "seasons." Given that 1895's single game has been accepted as a "season," the inconsistency would be glaring. The gaps below are 🚩🚩🚩.

Proof for the record of Arkansas first year baseball comes from these pages. Why not? They are from first year book published in 1897 for the 1896-97 school year. So what's the problem? Have you worked on a yearbook before? When does it go to press?

But I don't need to tell the Avid fans among you about the 1896 baseball season. You already know about it if you've read the media guide history of records by season. It's the very first line. Sharp, um.. Dude that says 18 - 97!! 😉🤣
