I'm trying out google jules (AI code generator) on a personal project. not only is the output not really that useful (too verbose and complicated -- too many lines of code) but in a new file it generated, it is mixing tabs and spaces. pure evil.

Right, you could make the same argument about this guy. He might have completed an effective altruism fellowship and give vegan. But "he's not an EA" because he's in DOGE and "he can't be EA because EA is good by definition."

He might not be formally EA, but he apparently has participated in real world EA events and endorses EA ideas

It's semantics. It depends on how you define "real EA" or "real Christian".
Musk may as well be culturally EA the same way Trump is culturally Christian, even if you may consider the way they practice those identities as perverted.

I mean there's at least one. You could "no-true-scotsman" him, but between completing an EA fellowship and going vegan, he seems to fit a type.
