I went out dancing in downtown Portland last night. Enjoy the views of our “war-torn, terrorist ravaged” city. They did show some pics of costumed protesters facing off against ICE, and everyone cheered.

The mobile vet was amazing, giving Percy a good send-off with treats and lots of love. It was the best death possible. Yuri has a new home with a buddy and a safe yard to play in. The house is bizarrely quiet and empty. Watching tv sans cats on my lap is terrible 2/10. Do not recommend.

Percy is leaving us on Thursday. I am looking for a home for Yuri, ideally someplace he can safely go outside, with another pet or pets. He needs a snuggle buddy/ playmate.

My amazing Percy has bladder cancer. He’s 16 with arthritis and a heart murmur. The answer is NSAIDS to keep him comfortable and 4-6 months at the most. I’ve had cats all my life and he is the best ever.

Today I tried to put on my Crocs (I wear them to the pool every day) & my foot wouldn’t fit… I was very confused… Then I realized I had left them in my car over the weekend and apparently the heat shrank them! Compare to my other pair that was safely in the house.

This book is shocking… I have enough experience (personally, and as the wife of a doc and daughter of a nurse) to know it’s true but it’s still mind blowing. Please read it! The audio performance is labored, fyi. The author sounds like he’s struggling to speak.
