This recipe has been in my regular rotation since I tried it. Great way to use whatever vegetables you need to use up, plus I am eating a lot more spinach since discovering Chef John's loaf pan frittata. #ChefJohn #mealpreprecipes #breakfast

I am so glad I took the train instead of flying this time to visit my daughter. It was a nice, relaxing ride and the ride home was even better, due to the pretty snowy landscapes. These were taken just outside of Richmond VA on board the train.

Up in Baltimore to help my daughter with her surgery and we had a snowy day! The flowers are from her neighbor. She's recovering well. No pics of her bc she doesn't like to be on social media.

Sausage and sage cornbread stuffing. Onion, celery, ground sausage, celery leaves, parsley, sage, marjoram and thyme and your favorite cornbread mix. Works well with herb stuffing, too, I just like the cornbread one better for Pavochon (Puerto Rican marinated turkey).

Hopefully the move will end up being a positive thing for them. My parents ended up loving their place at Cambridge and I still go there as a member to swim amd work out in their beautiful gym!

Sad anniversary of note. Tonight marks the 12th anniversary of the loss of the HMS Bounty replica, legend of sea and screen, sunk in Hurricane Sandy off the Outer Banks of North Carolina on Oct 29 2012. 1st pic shows her foundering the morning of the 30th, the 2nd shows her docked at Wilmington NC.

My Eddie look-alike Lennox is mad at me and runs when I get near him because he hates when I try to put his medicine on him.

Unmarred by any ugliness. It was peaceful, even joyful. I'm so glad I went. This was my second No Kings event and was even bigger than the first. 2/2

Son took a similar path.

At the No Kings event in downtown Wilmington. It hasn't even started yet but the crowd is huge! Took a pic of Mr TRex.

Serentipity: I decided to cook Cherokee chowder today, good day for a nice chowder. And when I looked it up it was 11 years ago TO THE DAY that I first cooked it! Isn't that a nice coincidence?

My 80 something friend who I took along to the first No Kings day is suddenly nervous to go to next Saturday's event. I told her I'm not worried but it concerns me that she is. She was fearless the first go round.

Lots of people have seen footage of houses in the Outer Banks falling into the sea, but this is not as well known The rough surf has carved 5 ft cliffs out of the sand at Ocean Isle Beach, about 30 miles south of me.

You'll have to get a Pope puffer coat. I love this big papa coat, even if it was an AI fake.

After strength class I decided to head to the beach instead of the pool. So glad I did, there won't be too many more beach days this year.
