I make sure to keep mine charged for my swim workouts and having my goggles count laps for me is amazing.

I attended a ranger talk where the trees made a comeback because they reintroduced wolves to the park. The wolves made the elk not stay in the same place long enough to kill all of the saplings.

You got trouble, folks, right here in River City, trouble with a capital "T"...

You should come sing with the choir. They all just look around and say, "PEACE" to each other, and then flash peace signs to the congregation. The choir uses it as break time.

I was going to guess either higher water content in your butter or your oven is hotter. I have noticed more moisture in some store's butter. So, maybe different butter and/or lower the oven temp?

Almost as if we're in a British tale when grain tariffs kept wealthy landowners rich and starved the poor and there's a mean old guy running around, "...he better do it(die) and decrease the surplus population." Ghost of Present knows that with international trade, there's enough food for everyone

Was that a dog whistle when he claimed that people hate turkey? Turkey's were kept by the native americans, and their feathers were prized by them.

I'd do it. It's a hazard in an emergency.

My daughter did scout activities with her brothers, but didn't get the badges since girls weren't allowed in the BSA. She didn't find girl scouts nearly as engaging. She did go on to earn a Wood badge when she was old enough.

Love it. No auto-tune, such talent.

I used phonics and Teach Your Child to Read in 100 Easy Lessons. I don't think one method works for all children. I feel like combining the two made my kids fast readers. I do agree that it takes more than just sitting down and reading with them.

We have gorgeous coyotes. They are so much cuter than the ones I see at zoos.

In 1971, my parents didn't have health insurance. They weren't wealthy, but could afford to pay the hospital bill to have a child. My father was an engineer who put himself through school with the GI bill.

Or those kids arcade places with a large animatronic mouse.

I have a toddler granddaughter that waves and says to everyone, "hi!" Few wave back. I think to myself, what a sad world where people have to dampen the joy of a child that doesn't know any better. I will always wave back. What would the world be like if we all greeted each other with such joy?

They always look for loose soil in my yard so they can bury their nuts. I end up with black walnut trees where I don't want them.

How bad could it be to try to grind up Crayola crayons in your baked goods? They're labeled non-toxic.😆

The best place to see alligators is the Henry Dorley zoo in Omaha. They are more active than any gators I've seen. It's a spectacular zoo with the largest indoor rainforest. You can see the huge fruit bats up close at feeding time in the rainforest.
