Revisiting an old favourite, my first hand spun tank top, pattern made up as I went...moths have had their way with this, but as it has slightly felted over years, I cut out sections, and have enough raw stash wool from original to spin and patch up to get this guy back in action.

Head down knitting away, realized my scarf matched the sunset.

Getting a warp on this 'stick loom' was challenging this time around, had a moment of feeling like maybe I needed to not have a loom made with sticks from the garden, but one of milled lumber instead.
Now I am leaning hard on the notion of
'fuck efficiency'... efficiency is bringing only trouble

All done! I am now officially wearing P.O.G.G., the Gotland sheep from Barnston is. Named for Peace, Order and Good Government, from the Canadian Constitution. May POGG protect me in the years ahead....may we all find POGG in our lives.
Combed, spun, dyed and woven on a WWL.

The alchemy of raw wool to threads, threads to cloth and cloth to garment just wows me every time.
This coat from a Gotland sheep sheared in 2022 might be wearable before the snow melts.

Trying to distract myself from the shitshow unfolding by weaving some pretty colours...

The back chain is on! That feels like progress, getting weights on, then the front threads come down in front of the bottom shedstick. As the loom is out from the wall about a foot it gives a natural shed. My ADHD brain that can't follow instructions seems to this different every time😉

Starting up a new project on the warp weighted loom, trying out a super simple larkshead knot method for warping.
The warp consists of 4 different sheep fleece from Barnston Island, all dyed with natural dyes from the 2024 growing year, grown in the learning gardens with EartHand Gleaners Society.
