Twelve years ago Richmond seven-year-old Brendan Mackey was killed by a stray bullet that fell as he was watching fireworks with his dad along the James River. July 1, 2014, “Brendon’s Law” went into effect. It is a felony in Virginia when you fire a gun into the air and someone is injured.

SB 753 was just passed by the Senate Education and Health committee with 3 no votes. Now to Finance. More later.
