I don’t accept that, as a non expert, you can plan a course of learning and get much out of it. This is where teachers are needed to help you understand what sources aren’t garbage.

Definitely more interesting. This framing was once labeled post-cryptid cryptozoology - where we are past the point of finding the creature. Other factors are at the forefront.

Which one?
Bigfoot, to me, is almost too well known (while still being an unexplained creature) and so is a bit boring to me. I don't much like listening to people telling their stories or speculation about it, but I like the reports about them spotted near me.
