As I move into the New Year, and try to make it through this dreadful day, I am reminded of the lesson I learned in Costa Rica last month. Pura Vida or “Pure Life” is focusing on gratitude, slowing down, & finding happiness in life’s simple but meaningful moments.

we made the trip down to Jekyll Island / St. Simons to visit Kaela since she couldn’t come home to celebrate her birthday. Spending the long weekend with her was wonderful—I loved every moment of our conversations & time together.
