I have a paper in review with an ex-student as 1st author. The last version had a line in acknowledgemts that he’d used AI to assist phrasing. This gave me pause & a 1st for me, but the content is his/ours, & it’s openly acknowledged, so I guess it’s ok ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ? Interested to see where this goes

lol no clearly not, and they even spelled my name incorrectly. By the time I got past the paywall I could see they just copied the first 2 sentences from my Uni profile. We complained and they removed me from the article apparently
