Here's what Gemini thinks you look like. How close was Gemini to the truth?

Meet Chuck from Canada. Don't mess with Chuck, he'll knock your teeth out before you can say "double double", eh

My feed is hilarious tonight. Half of the posts are photos from various "No Kings" protests.

The other half are posts about this AGI definition paper with fake references.

So I asked Gemini to summarize my timeline and here you go:

We see that we beat Gemini 2.5 on 4 of the 5 games, and tie it in the case of tic-tac-toe. (Interestingly, Gemini 2.5 often does not even play legal moves, and hence loses by forfeit, even for existing (non-novel) games such as Backgammon which are part of its training set.) 19/N

Below we show an example of a test for T for tic-tac-toe, where the action corresponds to x-player choosing location (1,0). 10/N

The world model can be interpreted as a Partially Observed Stochastic Game, which is represented below as a causal graphical model. All transitions are deterministic, but stochasticity can be introduced via hidden random actions chosen by the chance player. 4/N

Hello all! 👋 🚨 New Preprint Alert! 🚨

Code World Models for General Game-Playing. ♟️🎲 ♣️♥️♠️♦️

I am pleased to announce our new paper, which provides an extremely sample-efficient way to create an agent that can perform well in multi-agent, partially-observed, symbolic environments!

I bought this book because it had smaller adventures that were mostly self-contained but (IIRC) set in the same world/setting. Also mystery-based so it's more of a whodunit than a hack-n-slash. I think they were also possible to do solo. I never got to try any yet, though, but it had great reviews!

This starter set was quite nice. Characters already made and the story was simple enough, and not too crazy on the gore / combat. It didn't go super well with a group of 4-5 eight year-olds, though: I was out of practice as a DM and they were maybe a year too young.

Just finished Romania castle! Wow, that one was another tough one.. and super long. Took several tries, and over two hours to finish all told. This one gets you to go around the whole castle many, many times. A few of the top rooms require some ingenuity. Very well designed. Three more to go!
