That's why I specified it as being a "small, narrative slight". It's not in itself offensive or bad but it's part of a greater whole of a pretty annoying storyline. I'd say this later exchange from the trial is far more eye rolling.

SL is overhyped as "destroying the story" when BfA leads with having one faction being irredeemably evil and then never meaningfully addressing that again.
Imo SL is just easier to clickbait as you have some real meme worthy imagery to quickly (and rightfully) slander the expansion.
