I have been a lifelong Pokemon and Transformers fan. Not sure what else I might use this for, but I want somewhere to just share my Shiny luck and the funny/crazy stories that come with it.
I tried out a brand new Shiny hunting method for me tonight. I opened Shining Pearl and tried my first Poke Radar hunt with Baltoy. The chain broke a few times but once I got one up to 40, the Shinies came quickly enough. And I had two back to back so I even got an extra out of it!

FINALLY! It took 392 eggs for the first one, and then another 658 eggs for a second. It then took another 964 EGGS before I finally got my third and final Shiny Whismur! The line is complete!

ANOTHER Shiny drought on the Switch 2, but it was broken in a CRAZY WAY. Full odds Shiny Dhelmise, no aura. With Shiny Charm and Mark Charm, this was 1 in 1365 for the Shiny, and 3 in 2802 for its mark.
No doubt my rarest and coolest Shiny I’ve gotten yet.

Big Shiny drought since my amazing day last week, BUT, the good news is I managed to snag a Switch 2! I immediately did one Shiny hunt in Scarlet with the update, and tried the Cyndaquil cave.
I got one on the third sandwich, and I do think it’s a better hunt on the Switch 2.

MY LUCK IS CRACKED TONIGHT! Shiny Amaura from an aura encounter! Only about 70 battled so it was a 1 in 819.6 chance! 🤯

Going for Kyurem now that I got Buzzwole, and finally got my first phase! 50 Pokemon in and I have a Shiny Galarian Mr. Mime. Really happy it’s another new one for me.

FINALLY! I am so happy to get this one! Probably one of my favorite Ultra Beasts alongside Guzzlord, Buzzwole was just the path I found first. Got lucky with the one DA I get to do during my lunch at work, SOOO happy to finally get Shiny Buzzwole!

Yesterday’s Scarlet Shiny finds. The Seel completes the line for me!
Big tip for Shiny hunting Seel in Scarlet/Violet, hunt it in an outbreak if you can. It’s a lot more likely to miss a random Shiny Seel in the wild, but it’s easier to see the difference when it’s around other regular Seel.

Yesterday’s Scarlet Shiny finds. The Seel completes the line for me!

I got a GREAT Level 3 Shiny Normal sandwich in Scarlet! I made one for a Kanto Tauros outbreak. Started off somehow noticing a Rufflet in a group in the grass. And then didn’t have to reset to save the herba as I also found the Tauros!

I’m not complaining about a duplicate Shiny Pokemon I’ve gotten from other games when my phases just keep getting shorter, Shiny Electabuzz just 15 Pokemon after the Alolan Sandslash!

Not gonna lie, actually kind of mad about this one.🤣
So I’ve mainly been doing DAs for Buzzwole, with an occasional anything is fine attempt. I had gone 160+ with no Shiny and did a one off random DA again. I get Rayquaza, it’s Shiny, and it was one of I think 4 I could have gotten I already had. 🤣

I for one absolutely do not care about having ‘backgrounds’ on a Pokemon in PoGo, but hey, Shiny is a Shiny!

AT LAST, I have completed the Shiny Eeveelutions in Arceus! With Umbreon, I am now only missing 7 Unown letters, and all the Distortion exclusives. The latter of which I have them all in Scarlet at least so not bad if I never get any of them.
