I can't figure out whether the latest Murakami novel is really, really good, or if it's blowing my mind simply because I haven't read a Murakami book for a few years. I think it's probably both. (I haven't finished it yet so there's still a chance he'll ruin it.)

I felt my brain getting stale a few months ago so I've been doing a lot of reading. Currently reading a Borges short story and I've had to look up definitions of five words on the first page so far, this is more fucking like it.

One of my best friends bought me a joke birthday present in the form of a self help book called The Ethical Slut. Where in god's name do I put this in my flat where I can still pick it up and read it but so that no visitors to my flat can possibly witness this.
