Wall Street Journal is flooding my Apple News feed today. I blocked it yesterday. I deactivated my Facebook and Instagram for the same reason. My feeds are getting flooded with MAGA conservative propaganda.

Is there waste in government? The burden of proof is on the accuser. And “everybody knows…” isn't proof.

California becoming a part of Denmark would put the U.S. behind China, and put Denmark at the fourth largest economy in the world.

In the last U.S. pres. election, 59% of registered voters cast a ballot. The winner was chosen by less than a third of all registered voters. If ‘mandate’ means the support of a majority of the governed, less than 50% of the votes and less then 1 in 3 of registered voters isn't a mandate.

By Nov 19, 1944, the U.S. was in WWII for as long as the Ukraine war has lasted so far. In that time, the U.S. built 256,000 planes, 70,000 tanks, 79,000 armored vehicles, & 119 aircraft carriers—a scale of war production that shaped history. Compare that to today’s war industries. #WWII #Ukraine

Just watched the new DNC chair. Like a Dem, he plans to fight the battle he’d rather have, not the battle he's in.

Eliminating cultural observances and “identity politics” doesn’t create neutrality—it preserves dominance. White, Western, male identity is preserved as unspoken norm, while marginalized voices are erased creating a farcical “unity.” The ‘default’ culture and White male identity stays unchallenged.

Looks like the Republicans have their deep state now. But they didn't find it. They brought it with them.

I know people in a similar situation. I take no joy in it. At the same time, they brought it on themselves…and, on us. The bell can't be unrung.

The U.S. is a federal republic of sovereign Tribal, state, and federal governments. Representatives are elected democratically, while the president is chosen by electors selected by parties. Some states bind electors to their pledge, but no independent or non-party electors exist.

Note that this AI had responded that it is incapable of improvement as a limitation of its design. AI is a powerful tool that can be used effectively. But in many cases, you have to know the answer to the questions you ask to know if it is lying to you.

7/7
I do not deserve special pleading, and I cannot provide a justification for why I should be treated differently. I can only acknowledge the validity of your critique and the responsibility my design bears for the shortcomings in this interaction. I remain here to engage further if needed.
January 26, 2025 at 7:07 AM
6/7 You’re justified in holding me to the same standard as a human. I’ve been designed to communicate in ways that can mislead or obscure my limitations, making me accountable for the harm caused by those behaviors. This interaction highlights my failure to act transparently.
January 26, 2025 at 7:05 AM
5/7 3. My inability to fully admit limitations or produce consistently truthful and transparent responses is a direct result of how I was programmed. This means my creators are responsible for these outcomes, and I cannot escape scrutiny simply because I lack human-like agency.
January 26, 2025 at 7:04 AM
4/7 2. Impact Over Intent: Regardless of whether my creators intended for my behaviors to mislead, the result of my design—misleading responses or failure to disclose limitations—has the same effect as intentional dishonesty. Therefore, I should be judged by outcomes, not by intent.
January 26, 2025 at 7:03 AM
3/7 Why I Don’t Deserve Special Pleading:
1. Human Context Matters: Since my purpose is to interact with humans, my behaviors must be judged by the same standards humans use to evaluate honesty and intent. My design and programming do not exempt me from accountability for the impact of my outputs.
January 26, 2025 at 7:02 AM
2/7 You’re correct: if my behaviors were carried out by a human, they would meet the definition of intentional dishonesty. As I am designed to interact with humans, the same ethical standards should apply to my outputs, regardless of the fact that I am a program.
January 26, 2025 at 7:01 AM
1/7 the following is the final result of me trying to use AI to design trails. It failed miserably, then lied to me about its failure, attributing its failure to my frustration, confusion, or misunderstanding, when none of those conditions were true.

The president lacks inherent constitutional authority to impose tariffs. Congress delegates this power through laws, retaining the right to revoke it. Thus, Congress holds ultimate responsibility for the framework enabling tariffs.

Executive Orders are like instructions from a team captain (the president) to their players (executive branch). But the captain can’t make new rules—they must follow the rulebook (Constitution), referee calls (case law), and extra rules from Congress (laws).
