NEW: A federal judge (GW Bush appointee) ruled that the Trump administration’s abrupt removal of public health websites with information relied on by doctors may have violated laws and regulations.

He ordered them restored by midnight.

Federal employee with a data role told me that a document was removed from employee access because it had the word "inclusion" in it.

The way an executive branch that respects the rule of law objects to a district court ruling it doesn’t like is to *appeal* it, not to imply that the ruling just shouldn’t be followed.
