I know we’re all passing around the same $20 at this point, but if anyone happens to have a few to spare, a fantastic local org is helping trans folks get their passports updated while we’re still able, but they’re short on the necessary funds.

“Male / female” are adjectives too, and using them as nouns generally comes off creepy whether or not you’re referring to a trans person.

It’s painfully frustrating to see such an organic show of solidarity—which should be seen as evidence that, idk, maybe the person in question actually did a shitty thing—being reported like it’s some kind of hostile attack on an innocent victim.
