In my teens, I made a #BattleTech board game / #gamebook.
(I knew just the video games, and didn't know it's a board game.) So I made this hybrid, with grid-based boards for combat and a book for all the rest. To hit an enemy, you had to place its diagram at a certain distance and hit it with a die.
