Picked up this cool book for research. Weird natural occurrences all documented by science. While I am clearly obsessed with supernatural subjects, I always try to keep myself grounded and informed. I am a skeptic, yes, but a whimsical and open-minded one.

Took the fam to an opening reception for one of my fave Appalachian artists, Savannah Schroll Guz, at Gallery 2265 in Wheeling, WV today. Locals: highly recommend heading over there one day to check it out while it’s still displayed. Esoteric & full of color and detail. Get ya some serotonin!

I’ve only got the pleasure to illustrate one book cover so far in my time as an illustrator, but I’m still glad that I was able to and that it was something this on brand. lol
