Trump threw himself a lavish Great Gatsby party hours before families across America lost food security. This is unacceptable—we deserve a leader who fights for working people.
On Friday night, Donald Trump held a Great Gatsby-inspired Halloween party themed "A little party never killed nobody.”

On Monday morning, the Trump administration told a judge it will only PARTIALLY fund SNAP and 40 million Americans should expect delays for food benefits.

Why does the current administration publicly blaming their political opposition for the shut down while simultaneously cracking down on its own citizens militarily feel so much like in the Hunger Games when the capital was blaming the districts?

NEW: Rachel Maddow drops unseen bodycam footage of feds coordinating the arrest of Newark Mayor Baraka.

I REPEAT: the feds ordered his arrest even though he wasn’t breaking any laws.

Federal agent: “We are arresting the mayor right now per the Deputy Attorney General of the United States.”

Truth bomb‼️

This man should be the one speaking on college campuses…

“They’re planning for us to turn on each other and make this culture war a civil war. I am begging you, please, for the love of God, for the love of our neighbors… do not take the bait.”

Currently reading (listening on audiobook) and HIGHLY recommend. Well researched , well-written, and reminding me that humans are much more innately kind than we are taught to expect.

Maybe I read too much science fiction, but maybe what the world needs right now is an actual alien invasion so that we can remember our humanity and why treating each other with dignity should be automatic.

1. Be more skeptical consumers
2. Identify more reliable sources

I often fact check quotes on social media, and came across one justifying the arrest and removal of judges for the good of the nation. The post said (in jest) that Trump had said it. Then attributed it to Hitler. I was curious, so I looked it up here: nuremberg.law.harvard.edu/transcripts/...
