The concept of due process dates back to 1215 when King John promised that no free man would be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law. Due process means you are innocent until proven guilty and is essential for a truly free society. @meidastouch.com @vanhollen.senate.gov

Whenever people mess around with the idea of getting rid of social security and other safety nets, I think about our guide in China explaining to us how they got to the point where they were killing and exporting their baby girls. Spoiler: it didn't come out of nowhere.

Jason Riddle joins Pamela Hemphill in refusing to be pardoned for participating in the Jan. 6th insurrection. Riddle says he was struggling with alcohol addiction at the time and his probation required him to participate in alcohol treatment. (WMUR 9, The Idaho Statesman)
