Me: One is coffee and the other's water.

Looking for a quick Thanksgiving read?
I wrote a bonus Kowalski short story, A KOWALSKI THANKSGIVING OF DOOM for newsletter subscribers. It’s a prequel to the next generation of Kowalski Family books, but it’s a complete story with a happy ending and it’s free!

The publishing industry might be killing off mass market paperbacks in favor of the trade paperback format, but I’m thankful we still have Harlequin series romances to “accidentally” jump into my cart while I’m grocery shopping!

Here in NH, the leaves are crunchy and mornings are chilly. Grab a copy of FOREVER AGAIN to keep you company while you sip a cozy drink. (Or, if you’re in New England, to celebrate going from iced coffee season to iced coffee in a hoodie season.)

I didn’t get to read a lot in September, but the books I did read were wicked good.

You might have written a hockey romance or two if…you call this the dirt Zamboni.

My answer to "how's the writing going?" I'm pretty sure the answer is that neither's a great choice, so just have both.

It helps that I got in the habit of, when I make a graphic for something, typing the alt text into my Apple Notes as part of the process. So even if I end up posting from my phone, I can copy and paste the already written alt text in. (Also, for this platform, the setting that requires it.)

I'll be celebrating my birthday week in the deadline cave, but I'd be happy to emerge and find a celebratory sticker should a certain event take place.

Popped into a little bookstore and grabbed a book (the words delightful, whimsical and cozy got me) and a magnet with one of my favorite sayings.

The Blonde Identity by Ally Carter was one of my favorite-of-all-time reads, and I tried to keep my expectations in check while waiting for the sequel, The Blonde Who Came in From the Cold. IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD!!!

My rewards for acquiring groceries for the week. There might also have been a candy bar, but I ate that in the truck in the parking lot. My kids might be adults now, but old habits die hard. (They also taste better when they're secret. Science.)
