Released in recognition of Dyslexia Awareness Month this October, the Blueprint is grounded in research and was developed through a multi-year collaborative process which engaged students, educators, administrators, parents, advocacy organizations, and community leaders. This type of work is even more critical given the uncertainty at the federal level, underscoring the importance of a clear, inclusive vision for the future of education. I needed this today. I love where I work. I have the best colleagues and admins. It is nice to be part of a collaborative team environment again. Recognition from a colleague in a coaching cycle ❤️
It has been amazing to have Shannon exclusively at e. L. M s this year and she has been working incredibly hard with the social studies. Department bring ideas to make hour time, planning, and with students more effective and Listening to feedback from teachers to help us create lessons that Align, engage, inspire and reach all students. While keeping in mind our individual strengths, she cares deeply about students, teachers and public. Education thanks for being awesome shannon.

Students with intellectual and developmental disabilities IDD such as autism and down syndrome are often left behind when it comes to literacy instruction casualties of the misconceptions that at best. They could only read by learning to recognize common words by sight. For researchers are finding that students with IDD like their peers without disabilities can benefit from a more complete approach, including phonics, vocabulary, and reading comprehension
