The Carbon Tax is widely demonized, and if it's just too unpopular and it has to be ditched to prevent a Conservative government, so be it. But. In 2024 my family spent about $2k on gas, and received $1120 in Canada Carbon Rebates. The tax was roughly 12% in 2024. My family made $880. #dothemath
