If only Trump was the only problem...

He was elected by 50% of voters and surrounded by people manipulating him for their agendas

Tariffs and making himself a fortune are his only ideas... the rest is project 2025

Not China....

Why would they chose uncertainty over certainty?

What could Trump do that he isn’t already planning on doing?

When Trump rips up CUSMA everything is off the table

We could put in a new order for another 16 F35s to be delivered in 30 yrs while building Gripens for Ukraine wink wink

So why is Trump selling F series planes to countries all over the world that could become future enemies?

Countries that no former president would sell to…

Trump is touting the stealth capability of the F47 as the best thing about it

Our trade with China must be selective to take advantage of their innovative technology in clean energy while limiting the risk to our security by limiting digital integration

Canada must forge a new approach to its relations with the US and with China

It’s time we stopped being an arm of the US
November 19, 2025 at 8:15 PM
The US tells us what to do and abandons us when China hits us back while doing nothing to adversely affect the US

We don’t have the economic or military power to enforce our interests on either China or the US, we rely on international partnerships and institutions

The US does not

The expansion of the Prince Rupert port needs to be streamlined

But the US military doesn’t own those parts or their supply chain
November 19, 2025 at 7:41 PM
The vulnerability of the F35 is the US owns the software, parts, and supply chain

1 flick of the switch those planes are just paperweights

The Republicans show the US cannot be trusted as an ally

If Trump goes through w/ bombing Mexico w no push back from voters - that will be a huge signal

Paired with our Australian over the horizon radar …

The problem with a golden dome solution is the inability to position defensive positions quickly

Canada is vast and needs nimble defenses or else it’ll be like France’s WW2 Maginot Line - Usless
November 19, 2025 at 7:35 PM
The more computer bells and whistles … the more things to break

The real threat is the US being able to shut down the software and ownership of all the parts and supply chain

One flip of the switch and Canada’s F35s are paperweights

The Swedes have given a very lucrative proposal to the Canadian govt

Griped has made a very strong case for their plane

It was unsolicited- which I find concerning b/c the Procurement Secretary of State should have requested it months ago

On the weekend I asked MP Jake Sawatzky to ask Gregor Roberts why BC has no planned nonmarket housing starts and only 3 small lots of fed land

In BC we need to keep asking Gregor to make BC affordable

This is a controversial case

I don’t agree with breaking the law, which is what they did

But safe supply does save lives - I take drugs every day, prescribed by my doctor for my illness.

Is there an issue with a prescribed safe supply option for addicts?
November 19, 2025 at 7:14 PM
The F35 performance is it’s vulnerability b/c the US controls the software and parts distribution
