Well, a few of the women got a little too much sun and by the following morning were pretty red-faced, and then one of the women was called to her counselor’s office to receive a disciplinary write up for her sunburn: “destruction of government property”. Wow! It kind of hit me in a different way at that moment. So, although there is no longer a fence surrounding me, until 10/01/2027, every move I make is monitored. Any and all doctor’s appointments, mental health therapy sessions, all communication on my phone and email, any employment endeavors, all overseen by BOP.

This reminds me of something I came across recently regarding DPD—from 1992. Even if they don’t/can’t share these databases with 🧊, they’re shared with databases 🧊 has access to.
Denver, displaying any two of a list of attributes—including slang, "clothing of a particular color," pagers, hairstyles, or jewelry—earns youth a spot in the Denver Police's gang database. In 1992, citizen activism led to an investigation, which revealed that [highlighted in blue] eight out of every ten people of color in the entire city were on the list of suspected criminals.

Rot, famously, starts at the top. Joe Biden, sleepy guardian of empire and whatever remained of the liberal world order, had stayed comatose on nearly every issue of import to his constituents. But the genocide seemed to bring him briefly and sporadically back to life. It was as if funding and propagandizing for Israel’s slaughter were the only aspect of the job that still got his blood moving.

The creative power of the oppressed will always exceed that of the oppressor, because it is the oppressed who must exercise creativity to navigate and survive a world that is set against them. It is the oppressed who create art and poetry and revolutionary ideas to cultivate hope in bleak places, so that people might galvanize and make change. It is the oppressed who, upon experiencing the defibrillation of disaster, have demonstrated what the bonds of solidarity can accomplish for the common good.

Woke up gasping for air again so this was great news to continue waking up to on here. 🙃 Also today’s air quality index in Denver is “poor”—as usual; so glad Mayor Vibes is giving in to corporations on the local level in this bipartisan effort to poison everyone, everywhere. 😷
The air has reached a high level of pollution and is unhealthy for sensitive groups. Reduce time spent outside if you are feeling symptoms such as difficulty breathing or throat irritation.

We always appreciate hearing from Coloradans, as it helps us better represent our great state in the United States Senate. Hamas’s terrorism, hostage taking, and massacre of innocent civilians on October 7, 2023, were horrific and we unequivocally condemn their actions. We support Israel’s right to defend itself and remain committed to upholding its long term security as our closest ally in the Middle East.
