What are we asking for? We think it’s pretty simple stuff. We just think our members deserve similar compensation and benefits to other Clackamas County employees and to other local government employees in our region. Read more here: docs.google.com/viewerng/vie...

Don may have retired from Clackamas County, but the former CCEA president hasn't retired from standing up for workers.

The county has presented our members with an offer which included an ultimatum, so our Monday mediation session has now been canceled. It is looking more and more likely that our members could vote to strike very soon. Please donate to our solidarity fund to help support our efforts and our members!

CCEA members could use your support. I’ve worked for Clackamas County for over 10 yrs. This is the 1st time in the history of our union anyone can remember we are so close to a strike. Most of us can’t afford to take unpaid time off work but standing in solidarity is important to showing our worth.
