It was a brick and stone house in the West of England, parts of it were 300 years old.
I live in Australia now, some people call it Boston Ivy, but it’s rarely on houses.
English Ivy is the scourge in our area, it flowers and seeds profusely, the neighbours have let it climb three old poplars.

It covered the whole front and side. It was that house that had always had it on its walls.
