Still prefer Morrowind but there is no doubt that Skyrim feels more refined. Interface aside. I have been trying to finish off Oblivion Remastered and also started Starfield so definitely been in the mood for that type of game lately.

Had a lot of fun with both the single player and multiplayer back in the day. Almost scared to go back to it now for fear of spoiling my memories of it. The series is a bit of a roller coaster after this one but there are still a few good games in it.

This is an awesome set. I wasn’t going to get it but so glad I did. The way it’s engineered is amazingly clever.

Doesn’t give me much hope for the new Layton game and I have really been looking forward to a new one too. I like to think when people are talking about % of code here they are talking about boilerplate which was easily generated by systems not branded as AI way before any of this crap appeared.

I have been playing it today and I still cant get it right. I am sure did for a brief window many years ago but its not happening today. So frustrating, as its an otherwise amazing game.

They are great and it sounds like such an awesome job to have.

Very cool. Is the Pi also doing DCC decoding or is it independent? Or is it not using rail power at all?

Switched straight over to city fibres network when it arrived here. No brainer compared to what the alternatives are.

People use their personal devices for work? Wild.

This makes me think that it should have been animated.

I noticed it right away on a different loading screen to that one. I dont believe for one minute that it was a placeholder, given they all have hints of gen AI in them. The game itself is a solid launch so it does not look like they were rushed for time and forced to launch half baked or anything.

That sounds horrible and I imagine it will come with a price increase to double the insult.

Sounds like a Samsung TV model. 😅

I hate being in meetings and people reply with stuff like well it's the way things are going or it's the option everyone picks when it's a terrible product / solution.

I think this all of the time.

Not sure if you noticed, but Xbox in console form is done. The exit strategy is in action.
November 5, 2025 at 11:54 AM
Wouldnt make any difference. It was just a symptom of a poorly thought out strategy.

Wow, that’s awful. Now I know why I usually just get mockups in a spreadsheet. I would rather use office 2003 than any of the more recent stuff.

What are people moaning about? I am not picking it up until I finish 3.

You need to write some sort of t9 texting style system so you can reply to people without having to plug a larger keyboard back in.

Imagine being insulted while playing an online game and not being able to retort. 😅
