Issues arises when these elements are spotlighted to the point of parody. Critics also hate when a game is overly edgy or a character is portrayed as one dimensional, over emphasis on any trait can ruin overall immersion and narrative.

The UX / UI of Destiny 2 is what stopped me from getting into the game long term. People slammed Starfield for its UI issues but somehow D2 avoided this.
