In the dealer's hall, cavernous yet teeming, you sense what waits. Terrors lurk in paper and ink, kept in check only by rigid boards and averted eyes. You feel none of the jostling bodies in between, slowly dying in their thousands. Delta Green: Studio 2 Alley: Gen Con. You'll see. They'll all see.

A huge trove of assets to bring European police agencies to your players' doors. Their Agents' doors, that is. In the game. This is a work of fiction.

Just amazing that we had people living in Mesopotamia for like forty THOUSAND years before they thought to write anything down. And what, 150 thousand in Africa before that? Do better, humans. FFS.

... End of the session, they'd gotten out of the region where the German artillery had zeroed in, gotten into scraggly olive trees, and run through machine gun fire up to the base of a little ridge where they had a moment's safety. Next time we'll see how long that lasts.

... Which is all a minor thing in the grand scheme, but it was a terrific "goddamn it, this war sucks" moment for the whole gang to laugh about. Anyway he still has his pistol for when he gets up to the German position. His pistol and all that mud.

Shit, one of our best campaigns has a chapter about (spoiler alert, I guess) attacking an ICE detention center. But the book's foreword didn't say "you get to imagine shooting a kop" (not a cop) so I guess we're off the hook.

I say all this as a @drivethrurpg.com partner with nothing but positive interactions going back 20+ years. And as publisher of games where you shoot (not punch) Nazis (not spacenazis) in the face. Games that tell real-world Nazi apologists and whataboutists to GTFO.
