This bit was probably doomed from the start because while Miko is noodley (not lanky thin just noodle) the cool/horror factor comes from how Nakatani draws monsters imo- very detailed but also fundamentally off like too many teeth, limbs exaggerated just enough to be terrifying, and there’s also -
