Which is not to say that I don't think it's important. Just that at this stage of the game the GOP is going to take every inch they can get, legal or otherwise. And the only way to get them to do anything is if they are absolutely cornered.

I don't even think it matters either way. If the Felon is openly defying court orders, there's no reason to think him or the GOP would follow through on any deals for fear of consequences.

3) You are free to play a character however you want. If you play a tabaxi acting like a normal human then there's a good chance people will forget it's a cat person, and if they don't, then the problem is on them.
4) You can't please everyone, so find a group that you gel with beforehand.

It's a video I disagree with, personally. Not in a confrontational way, mind; everyone is entitled to their opinion. But for my take on it:
1) Pathfinder leaned into it and seems to be doing fine.
2) Multiple races that have differing strengths and weaknesses have always been a staple of the game.
