Apple has many issues with their software. The most infuriating being Apple Music. Syncing music to your phone is a guaranteed fail operation. It never works correctly. Last time it was duplicate files, I guess this time it's broken album art.

I just want to sync files, not a Music subscriber.

Xcode's profiling/instrument tools are great. So easy to get a quick flame graph to see where you're spending your frame budget.

For some context: the last game I shipped, Smol Dungeon, is a 20k line Swift (SpriteKit) single-threaded game.

On a whim I tried switching it to Swift 6 mode: 411 issues. It just feels like Swift 6 is going to be an extinction-level bifurcation event for the language.

Needed a break from game prototyping so I spent some time adding "juice" to Smol Dungeon. Coins, hearts, and new levels. Got some more polish updates coming soon too.
