Well, I decided to give this show a watch, and I now get why people talk about it so much. Stilted animation work aside, the character writing is just impeccable. And despite being spoiled with the twist, it was still very compelling to watch it unfold

- Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man -

I was genuinely expecting to hate this, and it's far from perfect, like the animation work or some story beats. But my god, having a new Spider-Man cartoon that I'm actually invested in doesn't feel real after 15 years of mediocrity

- The Evil Within 1 -

Very rough around the edges & nosedives after chapter 10, sadly, but I still had an enjoyable ride when it came to the thrilling atmosphere, intense disempowerment, layered combat arenas, and stellar enemy designs.

- Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip -

What a fundamentally fun, bite-sized open world adventure to explore every nook and cranny, elevated by its goofy humor that made me smile and its relaxing collectathon loop that kept me hooked without any fluff. I had a wonderful time with this!

- High on Life -

Although the comedy made me facepalm, I was somewhat enjoying the gameplay parts when it came to the shooting and platforming, which is surprising for a game that has a rough reputation

- Pac-Man 256 -

I never knew that an endless runner would fit with the Pac-Man formula like a glove so seamlessly. I had a pretty good time playing over & over again while upgrading the power-ups. For sure, a simple fun Pac-Man spin-off!

- TY the Tasmanian Tiger -

It may be hit or miss, but I had a good time with TY 1 thanks to the solid controls, charming visuals, and decent level design when it isn't too big. It has a lot of heart, even if it's very rough around the edges

- My Deer Friend Nokochan (Anime) -

It started out very funny with the first few episodes, but as it kept going, it became less entertaining, and the episodes began to blend together. It has some charming characters but loses its steam on the comedy very quickly. It's okay

- Ninja Gaiden 1/Sigma -

A wonderful mix of combat and platforming, which ended up being much more fluid than I had imagined. Aside from the camera having a stroke sometimes and no chapter select, I had a blast with this. I’m now a Ninja Gaiden fan!

- Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010) -

I had a blast with the cat & mouse dynamic of playing both the racer & cop, but it got very same-y racing around in Seacrest County map after a while, as much as the gameplay loop is exhilarating & oozes style

- Castle Crashers -

Aside from some bad boss fights, wonky camera angles during multiplayer, and uneven difficulty at times, I still overall had a blast playing this game with my friends due to its pretty fun combat, enhanced by the charming Newgrounds visuals

Wow, people really do like checking out my Backloggd reviews despite thinking that my written thoughts on games aren’t all that special. But hey, it’s pretty awesome that so many people are interested in my unfiltered thoughts on the games that I’m playing!

- Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories -

I had a comfortable time with it, but it started to overstay its welcome to the point that the cracks became unavoidable, even with the lovely pixel art and intriguing story. I didn't find it dreadful, but it was all over the place for me

- Marsupilami Hoobadventure -

This turned out to be a delightful surprise. Despite a few drawbacks, the mix of DKC & 2D Rayman makes for a fun 2D platformer to zip through due to smooth controls and well-designed stages in vibrant 2.5D visuals. I had a blast with this!

- Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League -

I had no plans playing this game, even after it was added to PS Plus, but my friends dragged me. What followed was a borefest that turned the simple act of shooting at enemies into tedium. I'm glad I didn't spend money on this garbage

- Pac-Man Battle Royale -

The only Pac-Man game that I had the opportunity to play at the arcade near my city, and I had such a blast playing this with my closest friends for a simple player vs player game. I also tried it out on Museum+ with my sister, and we still had fun!

- Pac-Man Arrangement (2005) -

I went into this PSP remake expecting it to be lifeless, and while it’s not as strong as the original game, I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun I had with the new levels that maintain their fluid flow. It is for sure a different beast though

- Pac 'n Roll Remix -

What do you get when you mix Super Monkey Ball with the mediocrity & slipperiness of Sonic 3D Blast? You get this borefest of a Pac-Man experience that becomes repetitive without the gameplay loop hooking me in the first place. Charming presentation though

- Bumblebee (2018) -

Are my eyes deceiving me or did I get a solid live-action Transformers movie?! Don’t get me wrong, it treads on familiar ground from other movies, but I'm willing to swallow it because I like how character-driven it is for me to be willing to enjoy it

- Super Double Dragon -

No idea what I was getting into, but I walked away from it having a pretty good time with it despite it not being as fast-paced as other brawlers. That is thanks to its simple yet fun combat and solid presentation that carried me through this game!

- Transformers: The Last Knight -

I'm lost for words after watching this. It doesn't feel like Transformers in the slightest, and as harsh as I was towards the other movies, they somewhat had their Transformers juice (even if it's not good). Edmund’s death is funny though

- Transformers: Age of Extinction -

And we are back in rock bottom. This movie is dreadful to sit through with the worst human characters in the entire franchise & the concept is terribly executed. It just lacks any energy that the previous movies had as flawed as they are….

- Transformers Dark of the Moon -

Hold up. I kind of like this one… It's the only one that made me chuckle a few times, and the last hour of this movie is really cool, even if it is just pure action. I’m pleasantly surprised by it, I won’t lie here

- Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen -

If I had to take a drink for every time this movie makes horny jokes, I would be fucking dead. This movie is a nosedive from the first one and is not even entertaining on its own merits. Is this only going to get worse?
