When I left the UK, ACPs in EM weren’t really a thing. Then I met some on my course a few years ago and this was my reaction. Would welcome them with open arms into the Australian EM family. Could help reduce workload pressure enabling better training for all. 1/2
To the ACPs, paramedics and nurses who attended the #CritCareED course yesterday. You were providing great answers to questions on complex cases that would tax my physician colleagues. If a member of my family were critically ill I would want you in the team looking after them

I am currently working on a QI about CKD in mental health service users and suggesting the use of a PoC-Cr for our services users.
Does anyone have experience in using this for MH service users?
I can’t find any resources or research on this for MH services
