Concepting journey for the gala outfit~

So recently our DM got us taken to the court of a literal queen bee where our characters were given mandatory makeovers befitting an audience with her highness.

A tall, muscular woman with broad shoulders in an elegant ball dress. Her hair is held up in a round shape by a vertical, gold, hexagonal, crown-like frame. A gold ring around her neck holds the front-top of the dress up, and it is cinched at the waist by 2 chorded black belts. The main body of the dress is gold with 3, large black stripes (1 horizontal over the chest, 2 angled vertically from the waist down from either hip). The garment leaves her strong shoulders fully exposed, with the black stripe on the chest moving into a large amount of draped, black fabric wrapped around the side of the shoulders and draped behind to create a very low open back. A translucent, gold, mesh fabric covers the arms below the black below the shoulders, creating billowing sleeves. Trying to imagine her in a modern setting helped me understand her better, especially when figuring out what music she'd be into.

Currently lost in the Feywild she's been imbued with powers that only enhance her intimidating presence. In spite of this she's found new friends that really see her, and in turn helping her to see herself.

Pulled away by circumstance, she's conflicted between missing her hometown and intense curiosity in the outside world and her place in it.

I love Zoey, and this Peanuts-esque background expression, and honestly everything about the movie.

The story was so much better than expected too. The way it deals with shame? Idolization? The way bigotry impacts invisible minorities? I cried so much. And still do at the final song.
